WHAT HAPPENED: A six-game home stand that began with an upset of Eastern Conference power Boston saw its fourth straight loss. The Pistons shot 39.4% and struggled getting good looks and making shots when they were open. They challenged the franchise record for fewest points in a game, but Charlie Villanueva’s free throw with 24.7 seconds remaining spared the team the embarrassment. The main culprits on offense were Rip Hamilton (4-for-14 shooting) and Rodney Stuckey (1-for-6). Villanueva led the Pistons with 15 points.

Noted caricature artist, Jim Bamber, who is known for sketching motorsport specific cartoons for various publications, has launched his ‘Heroes’ collection of miniature cars designed by him. Measuring close to 16cm, the car models have been skillfully crafted out of resin and stone-mix. Showcased here is reigning World Champion, Lewis Hamilton on board his McLaren Formula One race-car along with rally champion Colin McRae in the Subaru Impreza as well as the Ford Focus. There will be royalty paid on sale of each model to the Grand Prix Mechanics Charitable Trust founded by three times world champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE.
